This was a second team from the Klamath Falls area that applied to get into the OFL about 9 years ago. However, before they got in, both ownership groups of the Crusaders and Stallions merged into the Klamath County Crusaders. The Stallions never played a game to my knowledge, nor were they accepted into the OFL.

According to SemiPro HQ, the Stallions did play games in 1999. I'm getting the scores from Joe this week. However, I don't have any info for 1995-98.

The Stallions did play 1 season with the colors of USC. Maroon and gold. Some of the Crusaders team hall of fame players came from the Stallions, Joe Hopper, Rob Walton, Rocky Nelson and Coach Don Nelson.

MY bad then. I know I never played against them and only saw them at one board meeting when they applied. Did they play as an independent?

Ya I think they were Independent in 99. We played them out in jacksonville on that rock hard field at Cascade Christian H.S.

Good stuff guys...this is what I'm looking for. Even if a team never took the field but met for tryouts and practices, I'd like to get the information on them for historical reference. There's alot of teams that every bit of info is only available through personal experience and once those guys are gone, the history of that team is gone too. I'd like to get that information in print (on the history pages) so it's not lost to time.

lol....both!!! Hated the results but loved playin you guys. And hated the showers afterwards too!!! Stang like a jelly fish wrapped around my arms and legs!!!
